Mmmmmm- love this soap. It’s super slick and the scent is great. When I first received it I thought I had a duff one because it didn’t smell very strong but kindly one of the gents here sent me a lump of theirs and it had the same strength so I’m therefore assuming mine is normal.

In this rotation I’m finding the scent a little stronger, I can certainly smell its lime so it has presence without being pungent- I’m liking it a lot. It will definitely be replaced when finished and will become my ‘lime’ soap.

Semogue TSN LE Silvertip - Hampfat#2 - Gillette Super Blue Tech/Dorco Titan - Iceberg Twice EDT

Going to Angelsey for a walking holiday at the end of the week so with 2 long shifts to go before I go....this will be my last SOTD post for a little while. I have been checking out Tech razors for a little while to decide which one to take. It won't be this one! I had a great shave but it is in R41 territory for aggression. Most Gillette Techs are getting quite expensive unless bought as part of a grooming set so it looks as if I will be using a Lord L6 as it shaves well and is no big deal if lost.

2 passes and a touch up for an excellent {though slightly scary) result:)

Tabac A/S Lotion

Today I shaved with an ER 1914, a step up from a 1912, as much smoother and forgiving. I always somehow manage to adapt to the short handle and was very pleased to get a super close finish.

That brush is breaking in nicely. Maybe too soon to tell but are the bristles much more softer comparing with the unbleached ones? The last couple of bleached Zeniths that I had, 27/50mm, were full of upside down hairs and I didn’t use them enough to find out. For context, I find the hair in Semogue SOC to loose the strength/backbone after ~30 uses, and with that all the joy!
