Soap: Stirling Shadow Orchid.

Brush: Yaqi orbital boar.

Razor: Pearl Flexi

Blade: Solimo

Post: Alum, Baxter’s of California Shave Tonic and Baxter’s aftershave balm.

The Flexi is a delight and after walking the dogs in fog/mist this morning this seemed a great cream to start a slightly colder day, (little did I know it turned into a belter of a day!) The Yaqi handle seems a great shape and fit for me and it’s an extra scrubby boar which I appreciated today! A great start to the day!

A much better Shave today, concentrated properly ensuring each area dealt with properly before moving on to another one. Very pleased at The Shave quality as as finish is nice and close all round, including the neck area sub standard yesterday.

For me this soap makes good but not great lather, and its scent is just a bit too spicy, reminding me of Pen's Hammam Bouquet. I am finding that the H&S handles have a smooth space between the knurling areas that becomes slippery in my hand when it is wet.
