Cold wet flannel to my face & Head
Wrights Traditional Bar Soap with Coal Tar Fragrance.
Brush: Anbbas 24mm Synthetic.
Face & head Lather.
Lather: Haslinger Schafmilch & Lanolin Shaving Soap.
Blade: Gillette Winner Platinum.(D1)
Razor: King C Gillette.
Razor: Wilkinson sword extreme 3 Pivoting Head Cartridge Razor. (Head/Dome) (D2)

Early morning face & head shave,
I have said this in many of my posts that the Haslinger Schafmilch & Lanolin soap is an incredible shaving soap. Like all of the Haslinger soaps I've tried it doesn't get top marks for it's scent, but My skin type really likes shaving soaps with lanolin added to the ingredients, the post shave feeling from it is absolutely superb.
I have a another round ready to use once this one is done.
An enjoyable close comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report.
Finishing the shave off with a generous splash of Brut Oceans ASL.
My face & precious swede are feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

Tuesday 7th July ...
I never tire of the smell of Speick. It's been such a long time since I used it. Fabulous.
Today's blade in the shavette was an RK Pro Edge #1 which was much sharper for cutting through the growth. Covered all areas of the face and touched up with the DE razor on the lower lip and nostrils. A nice clean shave with a rather eclectic group of objects. Only a small mark on the moustache to show for it. Very pleased.

I was simply not patient enough. Although I rubbed for a good two to three minutes, I did not load enough soap onto my face and brush. I usually work with hard pucks like shave sticks, rubbing them directly onto the face and then lathering up. This time something went wrong along the way. Maybe I was just a little distracted or perhaps the coffee beans in the soap got the better of me.What happened,
