First Shave with Tiasoto Duo that arrived today from TRC. Innovative concept that is very well manufactured. Fit, finish, and tolerances were all excellent. I found the aggressive side to be milder than I expected so I did two passes with it and third on mild. Super smooth and comfortable shave. Zero irritation or nicks. Overall a very nice razor, would be great for travel.

Proraso pre-shave, Omega EVO brush, Tatra blade in the Duo, Stirling Arance Mandarini soap, Thayers Facial Toner, HAGs Faceless, Stirling AM EPD.

Shave from Wednesday. I was in hospital. In my small ward there was a cupboard with some basic essentials, a new boxed toothbrush and toothpaste, a comb, foaming skin cleanser, you get the picture. There was a no name single blade disposable razor and a sachet of shaving cream. I couldn't sleep because I was in an Ear, Nose and Throat ward and two of the people in the ward were recovering from a tracheotomy, I have the greatest sympathy for these two guys but the noise was constant and with every breath. Do you remember as a child drinking your Kia-ora orange from a plastic container through a straw, same sound but 10x louder. Because sleep was impossible, I turned hamster and was active at night and slept during the day. A 2am shave for example.

The sachet was made of plastic, I washed my face but then had the dickens of a job in opening the slippery sachet, ended up biting it open, the cream went on my face but just disappeared, anyway, I had my shave and I must admit that it did the job, nowhere near the quality of a home shave but it was better than nothing.
