Razor: Blackland Osprey (5,5,4)
Blade: GSB (1)
Brush: Wald A1
Soap: Noble Otter King
Splash: Noble Otter King

The osprey arrived today having flown under the radar and thankfully no import fees... 😅
It went straight into service and the results were... good. It'll probably take a few more shaves to dial in but I'm quite happy so far...

King is a lovely grapefruity chypre too...

Pleasant shaves to all!

Pre - Droyt's Vegetas Glycerine Soap
Brush - Erasmic AP Shave Co Gelousy Bulb 20mm
Soap - Signature Soap Vectis
Razor - Tatara Masamune
Blade - Personna Med Prep
Post - Cold water Rinse
Balm - Barts Balm Ben Macdui - Rosemary & Sandalwood
A/S - Brut Original
Wk 06 (3).jpg

The build quality of the Tatara is up there with the best. The Masamune head i find easily efficient enough for me and it always delivers a top quality comfortable shave.
The Signature soap again produced a fantastic lather, built up on the chin and the brush held enough for my 3 pass shave.
Enjoy your day all.

Time to return the Blackland Osprey to its owner.

First impressions weren't great as it seemed that this had slipped by quality control.
And just felt off balance in use.

After a bit of time spent fettling and deburring.
The razor felt more comfortable to hold and come the second time of use. I had adapted to its balance and had enjoyed this and the following shaves.

Would I buy one?
Yes but probably a used one as I wouldn't want to pay $350 and have to finish the razor myself.

No shave yesterday due to being pee’d off.
i always get that way when i know im away back to work. Decided to go with the Fat again and i’ll be taking it to Africa with me for sure.
It lathers up a dream with ease & i just love it.
The knot on this brush is possibly the best i have its superb although i do like the High Mountain Badger also.
It was a first for me with the Razor,
a spur of the moment ebay buy but i have to say im not keen,
i knew i wouldn’t be keen weird ah but i was intrigued.
I don’t dislike it but i just don’t know if i can be bothered with razors where i need to concentrate for every stroke.
Just seems pointless to me where a milder razor gets there in the end with less dramas.
A fantastic 3 pass shave nonetheless if i don’t think this razor will be getting much use

Evening shave and tried the Henson, mild I think with an Astra SP on its 2nd outing and this was smooth, no blade feel at all but really efficient, one of my own 26mm 2band resin brushes and Elevens Amber, Patchouli, Oak soap was slick and its a fantastic woody scent.
