After a week full of Tatara shaving and experimenting with soap samples, today was back to "normal" with a trusted Schick and Tabac combination. That soap just lathers like crazy (still, it is almost gone) and is smooth as any! Lovely shave. The Proline blade was binned, I think 9 or 10 shaves under the belt.

As i am now officially of "vintage" stock
, i thought i would use a couple of my Vintage razors this week, they have been getting overlocked lately.
It is always a joy to use the Schick repeating razor, i just love the design of this thing.
3 passes for a very close and comfortable shave.
A little bit of sting from the splash which was fleeting, overall a very enjoyable shave.

Soap = Cella Aloe Vera
with matching splash & balm
Decent enough shave tonight
well pretty good really but i was disappointed with the soap,
Not a great scent & not a great strength.
I’m probably actually having a gripe for nothing.
Obviously the performance was decent & that’s all that matters.
The ascent isn’t bad at all and i do get a bit of Aloe Vera but i’m an Aloe Vera fan & i thought the strength would have been stronger.
I Guess that’s a good thing as the star of the show is the razor.
The second Superspeed ever produced & this particular one was New Old Stock.
Also a mention for the brush which was a first for me.
A pif win from here from @p.b and a first for me with horse hair. Thank You Paul it’s a great brush
