I had a wonderful shave with my Birthyear and quarter Slim. Paired with the Vintage perma-sharp i completed 3 passes on the lower setting of #3 for a very close. comfortable BBS finish.

This might be the only zamak razor I own but it always gets the very best out of any blade (with the obvious exception of Jewel).
MdC samples of agrumes, original, vetyver, and magdellen all causes skin irritation but natural and absinthe were fine, however that rawness I’ve been experiencing over the last two or three shaves might be chemical irritation due to back to back use over the last week. I hope that isn’t the case as I really like the scent and the clean rinse feel I get from this soap. Hopefully I can tame the irritation by using it just three times in each rotation. We’ll see how it fairs over the next few shaves.
