The monstrous CH3 Platinum knot and MdC might well have been make for each other. Vast quantities of well hydrated lather were created in less than a couple of minutes - if I were to try the ten minute shave challenge I’d use this brush and soap. The Atelier and Feather Pro didn’t let the side down either.

A 5 star shave for the Thames 200 Ultra for when I race on leg 3 later this evening.

Fwiw:
Stirling is not an elite artisan, slick but not so water tolerant and after getting older and more grumpy , I'm getting hardly satisfied with a soap base anymore.
While the mutton tallow base for me it's better, I wouldn't buy again anything from this brand. Enough is enough.

This soap had nothing more to offer me during the shave.

The razor is on the aggressive side, very efficient, not so well balanced, does its job and has good blade alignment. No issues for such a cheap clone.

Protection of the soap wasn't there and I loaded for more than 45 seconds with a drier brush. The lather in the third addition of water started to get thinner.

In the last pass, it was almost transparent. Who knows, I may forgot how to lather a soap.
