A very nice shave today with the Schick Band razor, the blade has had 6 shaves on it with touch ups and is still as good as it was when 1st put in. It does not feel like the new sharp DE/SE blades, maybe a touch dull, not tugging but giving a lot of feedback through the head, although it works fine for my medium weight stubble. I know they did not get a lot of love in their day, however, i find using the same shave angle as any vintage injector it provides a comfortable, safe shave. 3 passes with some touch up today for an easy BBS finish.
The more i use both the Brit and Egyptian Ingram's the more i feel they are alike, i find there is nigh-on no difference. They are both good creams.

Extreme sharpness is ephemeral!
The razor delivered such a smooth shave, and the edge is amazing, not sure I will be keeping this razor, It's a big lump of quality Sheffield steel, I much prefer razors around the 6/8.
