I was warned the v2 could get damaged trying the mod. for me the durability of the feathers is underwelming at 2 shaves. especially given the price comparative to DE blades from which i at least get 3 shaves.

maybe some European vendors will stock up on them new blades we'll see.

Have you tried shimming? You do not need to cut the blade as it's just basically holding it in place when shaving.
