Notes: A very enjoyable shave today after my run with Blaze.
It's been a while since I last used a Signature Soaps shaving soap and wow I had forgotten just how rich and creamy the lather is.
The Novus Spice smells great and the aftershave really does smell like Old Spice on the dry down.

Two days’ growth was removed with two excellent passes. It’s a long time since the Asylum Evolution broke the rotation. Same thing with a Crystal blade, for that matter. It’s a grand combination! A little more blade forward than the DEs I’ve been using recently, so it was a refreshing and exhilarating shave!

This was the first shave with the 1250. It should develop into a solid performer. Interestingly, there was no perceptible boar funk. Nor was it anything resembling a lather hog as so many new boar knots can be. After a thirty second load I had plenty of lather for two passes. The handle is just a wee bit smaller than the SOC, but the profile is so similar, the proprioceptive difference was easy to ignore. Sort of like the difference between standard Gibson and Martin short scale length if you can relate.

Typical great lather from the AoS Valobra puck, and as always, big love for the old school bay rum staple, Stephan.
