I have found it likes sharp blades, careful attention to angle, and proper tightening. I use hard plastic washers between head and handle, which helps cinch things up without damaging the thread or finish.

Yes, I also use a washer. I wonder if the AccuThrive blade is the issue, I’ll line up some sharper blades

A very refreshing, and smooth afternoon shave today.
3 passes with exceptional razor glide and effortless efficiency.
One of those enjoyable shaves that you kinda don't want to end so soon.

The PDG is still just as smooth and sharp on its 5th go around but it's a couple shy of my usual average yet so we'll see.

Finished off with the matching splash which left a very much appreciated pronounced and lingering frosty chill to help combat the muggy heat that's descended upon us.
