Razor: Timeless 0.68 Titanium (TiBam handle)
Brush: Highlander handle (RWSC Special Edition) + Boti NC finest two band knot
Soap: Joserra “Șoaptele Primăverii” (RWSC Special Edition)

Smooth and efficient shave, with excellent balance from the Timeless head. The soap delivered a rich, slick lather, and the “Șoaptele Primăverii” scent matched perfectly with the spring weather outside — fresh, bright, and very well suited for this time of year. The brush had great backbone with soft tips, making the whole experience feel effortless. Finished off with a warm, elegant fragrance to round everything out.

House Of Mammoth - Mood Indigo (Tusk Base)
Yaqi Arctic Sky Deep Blue 2Band 24mm
Rockwell 6c #6
Gillette 7 o' clock "Super Stainless" #3
HAGS - Creature Lives Splash Skinfood
Davidoff CoolWater EDT

Mood Indigo smells like you've left that blues club late at night, tired but feeling good, a little less alone. You take a look up at the night sky and breathe a bit, and sort of unconsciously hum the tune.

Notes: black pepper, blueberry, rum, vetiver, oud, night sky

For some reason the description matches 100% with the scent I'm smelling. Manly, "late night" with some smokiness from the Oud, but nothing dirty. The blueberry gives this "acidity", but it's very well balanced. Very nice and kinda dark scent, perfect for night occasions and not similar to anything else.

Tusk Base: Stearic Acid, Water, Potassium Hydroxide, Duck Fat, Beef Tallow, Glycerin, Babassu Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Lactate, Fragrance, Argan Oil, Murumuru Butter, Daikon Seed Extract, Tocopherol, Silk Amino acids, Lanolin, Hydrolyzed Oats, Willow Bark Extract, Allantoin.

Benjamin (Ben) Esposito is the owner and this is one of his flagship scents.
I suspect that the soap base is made in collaboration with Vida Perez (Oleo SoapWorks, now Chicago Grooming) based on my research.

Tonight I used a 2Band , to test my lather technique and to feel the "stealing lather" experience, one of the main reasons I don't like badgers. If someone gave me a very expensive badger brush, I would sell it and buy 10 synthetics. But that's just me. I'm not a lather expert either way, so synthetics help me a LOT in that. I love their face feeling too (very sensitive face that gets easily irritated).

Loaded for over 40 seconds for a final lather that wasn't heavy or superdense, but had this great residual slickness (killer "ghost lather"). A soap hasn't to be like liquid glue to provide a good shave or can accept tons and tons of water. Had good protection. The soap behaves like a full fat one, but without the lather part. If that makes sense. At least with the badger.

I did 2 passes (WTG, ATG) and some touch ups with water only, and the result was excellent. No heat, no burn from the splash (a good clone of Bleu De Chanel, although nothing comes really close to the original masterpiece).
Smooth skin and very well hydrated.

The 6c although not a piece of art, it's a shaving machine that does what it's supposed to do. Well worth the hype back then and in the chrome version is definitely a vfm razor. The 6# is aggressive but smooth enough, minimal pressure or it bites, especially on the ATG pass.

While not a high end soap and definitely behind Omnibus, Ultima, K2e, McDuffs, Orion, I liked this base and even the badger stole a lot of lather is was still stable and creamy but not really heavy as I prefer it. Lacks availability too and the shipping is insane. Wouldn't bother to buy it again.

Thanks for your time.
