The Clifton blades were part of a blade sampler. I'll not buy any more but I hate to throw out new blades.

Col. Conk soaps bring up a decent lather with the proper application of elbow grease. They don't last as long as hard soaps. This is a good excuse to buy more soaps.

First pass went well. Second pass didn't get as close as I would have liked but a third pass would have been too much irritation. (This is part of the reason I don't hack away at my face with one of those five bladed face graters.) The lime aftershave was calming enough that I didn't need an aftershave balm.
