Wasn't expecting much from the soap TBH, but it was legendary when I first started down this road so I thought it only right that I try it. Got to be honest, it really isn't in the same league as Vreto, P&B, Eufros for example, but the scent is very well weighted and really rather pleasant. Who knew I'd like the scent of a sandalwood soap! Performance is more than adequate too.

Guerrilla / Soapy Science / Paladin / Fitjar Islands Slåtterøy

Amazing that reading the directions (actually watch the video) can be helpful. Best lather in long time. Brush with new Paladin knot really whipped up the soap. Slåtterøy Moisturiser's fruity scent matched the citrus Lollipop soap.

Great write up on Mo's soaps Josh.

I have a couple and they are extremely underrated for a South African artisan soap. I've never experienced any skin issues.
Thank you, Tony. I was extremely impressed with that soap and for those prices, I am even more impressed, lol. Yeah, I didn't feel any burning or irritation but my neck was noticeably red during the shave. I have three more of his soaps to try out and a Wriggly Tin soap.

Another go with the Rex tonight. Tried a different blade, what I think is a pretty slick soap and had a play around with the cutting angle.
There was a little less drag but not a great improvement.
The funny thing is I find a lot less drag going against the grain.

The jury is still out but I'll persevere.
