Rough and uncomfortable
Far too much blade feel and I don’t think this blade is sharp enough as it felt like it was tugging

Finally discovered the sweet spot. I’m guessing to avoid patent infringement, PAL designed a head with a slanted section rather than flat as Schick used. This slanted area goes against the skin and then a slight angle for effective use.

This is an aggressive razor! A very close shave which was just on the border of comfortable. I think I’ll use this razor to test my MdC lather making skills when I crack open the tub soon.

After finally getting a super Shave with The Atelier I just had to do another one. Looks like my choice of a Schick blade was wrong, as like the early Claymore Evo it is designed to take Feather blades.
Was a very quick Shave as only a days growth to contend with, could no doubt get a better finish if I had not rushed together in the Shower.
