What a shave this was. My face is so smooth like it never had any beard. Fifth shave from wizamet and it performed excellent. Brut is taking me back to '90s when I started to use deodorants.

Not too sure on the fragrance of the MdC original but there is no doubting the performance - mountains of slick cushioning lather meant this was a great shave
2 passes and a few pick ups have me smooth and fresh for the day ahead

Monday we celebrate Juneteeth in the US. In the city of my birth and when I was a child, this was the only day African Americans could use a public park with swimming pools. The day after, the pools were drained and sanitized. I only discovered this less than five years ago. Whatever you think politically, we are better off when we treat others as we would, ourselves, want to be treated.

I didn't bloom the soap so it took a little time to pick up enough soap in the brush. I still sense it by drag. When you can feel the brush dragging on the soap it is usually enough.
I had to add a few drops of water in the shaving mug. I shook out the brush almost dry to start. It is easier to add water than to add soap. Now that I had a workable lather I went to my face. It feels like I have more control that way. I went back to the mug and swirled the brush around it a few times. This pushes the lather out to the tips.
First pass was nearly BBS. it would have been good enough for standing formation. Second pass was near BBS in every direction but ATG. Good enough. The lime a/s splash is lime with honey and floral notes. It's definitely a moral boost.
