My Shave today consisted of...
Prep Hot shower.
BrushHighlander LE2023 Boar.
Soap Mitchell's Wool Fat.
Razor TiGlide S1.
Blade Derby Premium (4).
Aftershave Jean paul gaultier Scandal edp.

I thought I would go with the Mitchell's Wool Fat new formula today after hearing they are closing.
Such a shame and a loss to the shaving community, I had a cracking two pass face and head shave and my skin is tight oooooo lovely.

Enjoy your day ahead everyone.

razor | Blackland Blackbird SS on a Lupo aluminium handle
blade | Personna platinum chrome
brush | PAA Star wisp
Soap | Mammoth FuDao
AS | Cade by L’Occitane (and Thayers Witch hazel)

My shaves are getting rather uneventful - I have been using the BB for over 3 weeks now, and it does what it need to do very very well. It’s so very much a keeper.
I also stick to the Personna PC blade - works very well - I can easily shave 7 days with it, after that I change to a new blade. Suits me very well.

The only variables that still change are the soap and the brush, and that’s about it. I reach for the Atelier Durdan N° 7 occasionally, but the 7.07 has a bit of a bite under the nose - the BB doesn’t. Anyway, I’m happy to load both with the Personna PC blade.

It was a bit silly to keep this BB at bay for such a long time. We’re hand in glove, … so it’ll stay on my arm, that little charmer ;-)

(I do indeed know my luck too well …)

Goodline stainless blade
Strand best badger brush
Captain's Choice sandalwood shaving soap
Old Spice aftershave
Old Spice cologne

Hot shower prep with Old Spice Swagger body wash

I had two days worth of beard. The Goodline blade probably wasn't the best choice but it did fairly well in the shave. The Captain's Choice worked up a slick and creamy lather. I did two passes and the result was near BBS. I had a double order of Old Spice to finish.

SOTD - Sunday 15th December 2024

Pre-shave: Cool shower (bit of a heatwave near Sydney over the last few days)
Razor: King C Gillette
Blade: Astra Superior Platinum (5th use)
Shaving Cream: Old Spice Original
Brush: Yaqi 24mm Moka Express
Aftershave: Old Spice Classic
Balm: Guess Effect Moisturizer

Classic Sunday shave, nothing flash or expensive. The Astra SP blade was sharp and smooth on its fifth use and is firmly ensconced as one of my overall favourites. The Old Spice scent is subtle from the cream but strong from the aftershave. The Guess Effect moisturizer is mild and runny-ish with minimal fragrance but I do like its use of the Blade Runner font! Enjoy your shaves everyone...
