Sunday - Tabac day, using a Proraso 27mm boar and a Gillette 195 1959 paired with an Astra Superior Platinum DE blade made in India. Used some Pears soap glycerine soap as a pre-shave. First outing, not as slick as the Proraso pre shave menthol I’m used to. In addition, shaved area felt as if it had been given a good exfoliation by the process. Will try the Pears again with a pass on 2 Usually first pass is a 3 with second pass on a 1,

It looks amazing! The combination of these two unusual razors is simply a masterpiece! How does it shave? I have a King Oscillator , but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

New Seaforth soap with Vintage gear = One Fantastic Shave.

Proraso pre-shave, Wild West Brushworks, Seaforth Heather (2026), Tatra blade, original Gillette 195 (E4), Omega Alum, Thayers Toner, HAGs Faceless balm. Great full three pass shave. I enjoyed the Seaforth lather and scent.
