Preshave:
Hot water rinse
Brush: Proraso Boar
Razor: Gillette Rocket Flare Tip
Blade: Sainsbury's Stainless [Dorco] (8)
Soap/Cream: Wickham 1912 LE Bleu
Aftershave Balm: Bulldog Sensitive
Aftershave: M&S Aqua

Suffering a stinking cold caught from our young grandson so today's shave was simply a functional one. Even so, a bloodless BBS, 9/10 finish is not to be sniffed at (pardon a pun). I feel better just for being clean shaven.

Have a good, safe week.

Regards,
Chris

I wish i had tried a guarded blade before now, these are really taming the AC shavettes.
I do have a little irritation on the left side of my chin/jaw which is down to me.
Overall a very nice shave.

Oumo 24mm SHD Silvertip Fan - LPL Rose de Pushkar - Katana/Dorco Titan - 4711 Rose EDC

3 passes for a 'Face Feeler'.
This is one day I should finish while 'smelling of roses' and not all entirely due to the shave. My wife enjoys Ballet...I suppose someone has to. We will be going to a local Theatre to see a live stream of Romeo and Juliet The Ballet. Personally speaking I would rather give her the money for my ticket and stay at home to sleep on a more comfortable chair than the one they will provide!

Razor: Gillette Tech
Blade: Astra SP, 4th use
Brush: Yaqi Sagrada Familia
Preshave: Pears Soap
Soap: Tabac Original Puck
Aftershave: Tom Ford Black Orchid EDT
Balm: Bart’s Balm Sample Balm
Additional Care: Osma Laboratoires Alum Block

My last shave of the day on the glamping/bus. The Tech was just a delight even with a blade a little past it’s best, I’d have never guessed it from the shave it produced. Thought I’d try to get a shot of the gear in the drivers seat, overall a great end to a great few days away!

Preshave: Shea Butter Last night, PAA Mentholated Cube in the shower
Soap: Martin de Candre Vetyver
Brush: M&F Heritage II L7
Bowl: Captain's Choice Copper
Razor: Rotbart Mond Extra RFB
Blade: Gillette Perma-Sharp (8)
Post Shave: Alum, Thayer's Lavender Witch Hazel
After Shave: Fine Green Vetiver
Balm: Brickell Instant Relief
Frag: Guerlain Homme EdP
Rating: DFS 9.6

Today felt like a good day to try out my Rotbart Mond Extra RFB. A little different than it's Gillette cousin. Rather than the Long Comb design on Gillette's RFB, the Rotbart's base plate is much more like the Gillette New Short Comb. Nicely balanced it feels good in the hand. Like a precision tool. I was a bit over confident for my skill level. That said I didn't do much damage. A couple of weepers, but, hardly any feedback from alum and after shave. Just enough burn to know I shaved. In a more experienced hand this will be a very effective razor. I'm glad I took the chance on it.

A Lovely 3 pass shave tonight
I haven’t used this soap for a while and the scent to me is top drawer, i really need to get a better rotation as i’m not using some gear for months possibly a year at a time so need to get that sorted.
The blade is another i haven’t used for months.
18 months ago this was my go to blade but like everyone else i end up with two many and not using the favourites.
This shave was a straight 10 absolute bbs with little feedback on the splash.
