Got off to a bad start as the brush a bit too dry to work up a good lather, once corrected all went well. Have to say that the Proguard is very good at clearing 3 days growth, and allows me to clear stubborn areas with little danger of mishap.

  • Soap: Martin de Candre - Fougère
  • Brush: Yaqi Black Marble Synthetic 24mm
  • Razor: Mühle Rocca R96
  • Blade: King C Gillette 1x
  • Aftershave: De Vergulde Hand Aftershave Balm
Today my first experience with a soap from Martin de Candre and wow, this soap is amazing.
The lather from this puck is unbelievable. Everything you hear about the soaps of this brand is true.
I'm so glad I bought it.

Watered down the 1904 AS with some unscented Zingari as the DG AS is a real scent bomb
