A wonderful shave made up for yesterday. It was the fifth shave with the B-20. With the tuggy Gem memories still fresh, just to be on the safe side, I banked the Proline blade after cleaning up.

I’m fresh in the midst of a potentially disastrous injector blade procurement situation! While I have about a dozen or so blister packs of sChicks and Japanese Schicks stashed, I’m now in my last package of Prolines. I like the Prolines very much and thought I had another pkg in storage, but apparently not. BullGoose has closed, and shipping to the states has become an issue. Hmm, maybe some fellow stateside shavers might be interested in splitting an order direct from Japan?

Thanks, didn’t know that. I’ll consider them. I’d always thought they were the US Personna made blades people call Ted Pellas (Pella is just a distributor, btw). I tried three pkgs of those many years ago and they were not satisfactory imo. I like the sChicks and Japanese blister packs well enough, but the Prolines are just a hair smoother in my Asylum Injector.

New Scent Wednesday! Ooops

I very much enjoy the soap base of House of Mammoth shave soap. Hygge just restocked and I have been looking forward to getting it, it arrived yesterday. I have Alive and Sonder soaps and they are great. I have gotten some other scent samples that were not in my wheelhouse. Hygge is clearly a Barbershop style and I like it.

Proraso pre-shave, Omega EVO, Timeless Ti .95, Tatra Platinum, Omega alum, HoM Hygge soap, balm, and EDP super smooth shave.

Shaving Recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower:/ BULLDOG Peppermint & Eucalyptus Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Wrights Traditional Bar Soap with Coal Tar Fragrance.
Brush: Wilkinson Sword Boar.
Face Lather.
Lather: Arko Shave stick.
Blade: Voskhod Teflon Coated.(D4)
Razor: Parker 24C.

Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.5 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With Care+ Witch Hazel./Arko Fresh ASB.

A close comfortable acceptable shave to finish my shaving week off where everything worked together wonderfully.

Finishing to the shave off with a few small dollops of Arko Fresh ASB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.😉
