Got out early to shop but roadworks traffic bad, so went to more accessible location instead. Ended up having an early afternoon Shave. and was pleasantly surprised at how well it went despite the blade being on its 7th outing. Was not overly enamoured with earlier Hawks but this one really works for me.

What plate are you using? Nice SoTd

Plate 0.5 - it tools me some time to make up my mind and I believe it was a good option for some who is shaving everything

Was it the blade? Which blades are those as I've never seen that packaging?

Possibly the blade but normally they are fine. These are Russian made Gillettes which, to me they, feel exactly the same as Silver Blues. The Ti Blackbird, despite being the right weight for me, doesn't ever work as well as the SS for me so may it's the razor but most probably because I didn't sleep well last night TBH.
