Greetings,

Early morning face & head shave,

I find the La Barbiera shaving soaps works well with face & head lathering, building up a lather with a my damp boar brush gives great results adding water to the tips of the brush to get the lather to the consistency I prefer.

Finishing to the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Fresh Moisturising Gel.

My face & precious swede are feeling super smooth & smelling divine.😉

Stay safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.😎

Really enjoying this Mellon. It’s been many years since I last used the Speick cream and the smell is both familiar and delightful. I found the slickness superb but when I used the ASL the sting was a bit of a shock - I just don’t get that sting from the soaps I use.

Pre shave: Hot shower and Neutrogena glycerin soap bar
Razor: Gen 2 Ever Ready Streamline
Blade: Accutec Pro GEM
Brush: Yaqi 26mm Bluish Violet synthetic
Boel: Captains choice copper
Soap: Stirling Baker Street
Post shave: Nivea men sensitive cool post shave balm

A very enjoyable mid morning toast scrape today with the streamline.

Extremely mild, yet efficient and very comfortable.

This thing is built like a tank and the heft of the head paired with the perfect balance of the handle means it does the job for you with little thought needed.
Which can easily lead you into a false sense of security, especially given how mild it is.
I ended up with one little spot of feedback on my neck but that's to be expected as I get used to new variables.

I was a bit more used to the GEM blade this time around now that I know what to expect from the, which led to an effortless 3 pass.

Stirlings take on the classic Strop Shoppe soap turned out to be the perfect pairing and it's definitely one which I'll be replacing with a full tub once this sample has dwindled.

Finished off with the always reliable Nivea sensitive cool.

Hope you're all having a good week so far!
