Saturday 4th (Artisan) April...

Quick shave this evening as have been travelling today. Everything worked really well together tonight. I'm totally convinced that currently Nacet blades are my most suited blade now. This was its first outing. This soap is excellent but I was just a little concerned about using the boar tonight and pulling out too much of the soap with the swirl as it's super soft. Maybe a bowl lather would be easier or a synthetic. What do other Signature Soap users do with firmer brushes? I'm sure some of you use boar with Signature...

This shave was as good as it gets.

Just don’t push the brush into the soap, be very gentle and you’ll avoid overloading the brush.

Wilkinson TTO razor
Studio 35 stainless steel blade
Leponix synthetic brush
Van der Hagen deluxe shave soap
Afta fresh aftershave balm
Bod Man fresh blue musk

Hot shower prep with Old Spice Swagger body wash and shampoo and conditioner

Mother nature seems to be on the bottle again. Two days ago it was in the eighties and sweating. Today you almost need your winter coat.

I tried the shampoo and conditioner trick on the beard again with indifferent results. The Van der Hagen soap built a decent lather. It's not a rock star but it does a workman like job. I did two passes and got a near BBS shave. Afta cleaned up the irritation and blue musk provided the fireworks.

Here's hoping you have the start of a great week.
