Sneaky Peak of a new SE on the block. Claymore Evolution.

Sat 12th November.

The Claymore Eco is my first Choice if I need a Top Notch mishap free Shave. I seem to have improved its balance and agility by combining it with a TI Handle.
Today with a Kai Captain Titan Protouch MG [ 8 ] on board, I cleared Two days growth with ease and the finish is a " Face Stroker". I would not mind trying The Vector, Stando Rod,or Shield Razors, but suspect that for me The Eve would still be No1.

Indeed. The point though was, after a bad shave a couple cold ones can clearly cheer one up after a rough outing. Not the other way around in hoping to improve the shave experience. Though, there are some who are game enough to try such an endeavor. God bless their shave hearts. :wink:

Just had a first shave with the Evo and a Feather Pro. A top notch finish with no irritation but maybe a bit too boring in use. One of the things I really like about the Vector is that you can feel exactly what the blade is doing, I didn't get that kind of feedback from the Evo. Next time I'll try a Pro Super blade as I think I'll prefer that in this razor.

Used a Pro Super and now we're talking. The end result was no better as I got an excellent finish yesterday but the feedback during the shave was much improved. It was easier to make micro adjustments to angle and pressure with slightly more blade feel. I don't think it'll dethrone the Vector but I prefer it to the Hawk V3 A.

Kai pink guard - feather pro guard. The only 2 blades I use in SE 💚🥃

Claymore Evo paired with a Schick Proline. Then, brought in Lisa’s Florida Freeze for a proper cool down with Chiseled Face Cryogen to seal the deal. I’ll be upfront about the Claymore Evolution, this is one of the more underrated AC styled razors on the market. Smooth operator that still carries a deceptively efficient shaver with not a lot of blade feel. Kudos to Alpha for melding both worlds of the shave horizon by giving potential shavers a no compromise shaver that delivers on both fronts Of the spectrum. Smooth and yet efficient that is not an easy task to accomplish. The Vector by Blackland still gives the more efficient performing shave with a nimbleness to it that is practically unmatched in the AC SE world but, it can also give you a quick bite as there is a bit more blade reveal with the Vector over the Claymore Evo. The Evo has a friendlier feel about it and can still handle the whiskers with comfortable ease.

I’d still take the Vector over the Evo if I needed an all out give me the best shave I need right now. Still, the Claymore Evolution isn’t that far behind and it gives great value vs performance ratio. It can arguably be an easy everyday shaver without blinking an eye. I know it could work for me.

A nice write up and thanks for the kind words. I am working on a new SE that will surpass the Claymore, be sleeker, have a narrower and thinner head and will weigh within a gram of the Vector.

Coming soon - you heard it here first.

I find that even first time AC SE users have no issues with Claymore. It is efficient and safe. Intuitive shave angle.

The drawings are all finished. I had a 3D print done to check it and it all looks good. I am in the middle of the Outlaw Evolution launch so don't have time to get it prototyped in metal yet - but I will. I am not going to post any photos as I do not want those peanuts from YAQI copying it before I get the chance to launch it myself...

The outlaw evolution titanium is a great razor, I have the old outlaw too. Wanted to get the claymore but I'll wait for your new creation, I hope I won't have to wait too long
