Razor: Alpha Claymore Evo
Blade: Feather Pro (7)
Brush: Alpha Outlaw SynBad
Soap: Wickham 1912 Magnum

A great shave. An Alpha shave! Brush performed flawlessly and the Claymore has cemented its place in my den. It's a great design and a bargain - I'd now be content to recommend this alongside the Hawk V3 (I think the Claymore Evo looks better than the Hawk). I look forward to trying different blades in it during the coming months.

A solid shave with really good face feel that was smooth and nicely efficient. Again paired with a Schick Proline and it made real short work of a days growth. No irritation, nics, cuts or weepers to mention. Haven’t shaved with it in a while but, the angle was as easy to get and felt second nature. Good razor, honestly….

Great shaves to all….

This is my second Shave with a Proline on board.Extremely smooth and comfortable, a quality finish as I got my ATG strokes around the neck to be more effective.I suspect that this Razor may turn out to be the best AC/SE that I have used, will need to see how it goes with Kai blades.

I have now had 7 Shaves with The Evo/ Schick Proline, and all Shaves have been first class. Where this Razor scores highly for me is the way that it Shaves consistently well around the neck, an area that is problematic with other Razors.I may well push on with this Razor to determine the optimum useage of The Proline.

Sun 20th February.

I am really enjoying use of The Evo with a revised head. In the original I was limited to the use of Feather blades, and got good Shaves with them averaging a max of 7 outings for the Pro and Proguard.

Now I have started to use The Evo ( revised head) with a Schick Proline blade. The Head is so well made that a blade cuts very evenly across its whole width, so that all Shaves so far have been smooth and comfortable. Though I have quite a tough beard I am with ease getting a good close all round finish every time. The handle with its Notch makes it so easy to hold when working ATG and around the neck.

Today I have completed Eleven Shaves with The Evo/ Proline pairing and again got a Top Notch finish.I suspect very much that when I have had the opportunity to try other blades, I will be able to declare The Evo to be my best AC/SE Razor.

Now using a second blade in my revised Evo, this time the Kai Pink. Fits very well and the blade aligned nicely. My second Shave with the Pink seemed to be over very quickly, yet I still got a super close all round finish. This Razor is working extremely well for me, deemed by some as Mild I find it smooth and efficient.

If you want MILD - try a Vector... hahaha. I would say Claymore Evolution is efficient. Nicely gapped and gives a trouble free, close, shave. But then I would say that - wouldn't I... ?
