Forgot to add. If you search YouTube for Simpsons brush factory you’ll find a few of the people in action making knots. A lot different than buying a knot and sticking it in a handle, very skilled.

Look for “Superior Shave“. They have a set of 8 posted videos all set in the Simpsons Factory.

Thanks, Matt. I'm not unfamiliar with this brush. I bought when I was limited to Manchurian and considered it too soft, so I sold. Since using the Paladins, I've had a change of heart towards the softer tipped brushes.

Eigengrau (Intrinsic Gray) is such a wonderfully CLEAN scent. Thank you Will I love it so much, right up there with Lavanille "a brand new classic" from Barrister and Mann - and that is saying so very much. :)

When Will gets it wrong he gets it really wrong, but at least he's trying. lol

When Will gets it right it's a homerun right out of the park. :)

Mark is going to let me pick out a CH2 candy stripe handle with a blue or green front, and I'm so happy. :)

(just like the beautiful Tulip candy stripe brush image below)

Someone here in this forum has stated the CH3 loft is too long or high for the 2band silvertip hair?

I'd love to go with a CH3 for this special brush but if superior characteristics like backbone are lacking then I'll just go with another CH2.

Anyone having any information on this I would greatly appreciate it. I've only seen one CH3 2band silvertip in existence, maybe it was a one-time production? Maybe it didn't work out? I just don't know.

That may be reference to an earlier post I made.
I spoke with Mark towards the end of 2019 requesting a CH3 2-Band. The issue is hair length allowing for loft and depth setting in the handle. He told me last Friday that nothing had changed, although he is searching for suitable hair, but don't expect anything soon.

So it may be possible Simpson can acquire suitable hair for a CH3 2-band?

Yet a CH2 2-band is a much more likely probability - based on hair quality.

I will happily LOVE another CH2 2-band, simply thought a CH3 2-band would - be so exciting! :)

Candy stripe with "front of blue" oh my God makes me so dizzy. :popcorn:

Mark's said he's searching for correct hair length and availability, but still nothing concrete. He's hoping.

So there's a chance 2-band silvertip Chubby 3's are possible?

Are you ordering one also? :D

I mean if it's an actual real possibility and only a matter of finding the correct hair, well I don't mind waiting and if Good Mark wants half the money down payment for his extra efforts, I can understand that completely. :)
