I had some wood dyes given to me so I used a piece of oak dyed it dark blue to highlight the grain, sanded it back and then applied a red dye.

This lead wood brush was stunning when finished, the grain was amazing and being one of the heaviest woods it has a great feel to it, it was finished with an omega boar.
