These seem to be addictive. One of my work team, who's young enough to not have to worry about spinal damage, has had a series of them with only a very brief dalliance with a Mini Cooper S. I drove one and was very impressed but couldn't live with the trans whine, road noise and absence of wheel travel!

Totally. Something about the high revving engine and also how raw the jap spac cars are compared to the U.K. Versions is so much fun!

Got this, this morning.

It's basically what we have here as the original Toyota Avensis.

This one is called a Caldina and is the GT-T spec.

This means it has a Celica GT4 running gear and engine. This one is quite extensively modified, the engine has be stroked by HKS to 2.2 from 2.0 litres and is running a Trust TD06 turbo. It's also had the usual work with uprated intercooler, radiator etc. It's a rocket!
