Shavemac classification

I just visited the shavemac website and it seems Bernd doesn’t seem to offer the Finest badger knot on its own; however, it is listed in the Hair Qualities discussion and as an option in the Configurator. I have six of Bernd’s brushes, all with different quality knots, and I find the Finest the best of the bunch in terms of face-feel, backbone and lathering quality. At the price, the Finest is a great deal.

I like all my shavemac brushes, but i’ve not tried the super dense 2-bands. I believe the Finest badger is a 60/40 mix of silvertip and pure, but don’t hold me to that.
