Shave stick recommendations

Without a doubt I consistently get my closest shaves with a stick. A friend says that's because I don't take enough time building a face lather when I use a cream or a soap in a puck or a tub, whereas rubbing the stick directly to my face really gets the soap where it needs to be. Either way, they are a great option. The Arko, Palmolive and Wilkinson sticks are among the greatest bargains in shaving, while I find the Speick, Valobra, and the DR Harris sticks as good as the most expensive soaps on the market. Those six are the only sticks I have tried. Every man needs to try a shave stick at least once!

Been dying to try a Speick stick for a while.

Does anybody know of anybody other than the Spieck UK distributor who sells it as an add on?
I'm not really after any more Speick products and don't really want to pay as much again for postage if I can help it

I really like this one a lot. It performs well and smells great.
Interesting razor. Unusual pattern on the top cap. What razor is that, if you don't mind me asking?

More on topic, I've used the Ogallala shaving soap (which I kept mistyping as Oglala until now) puck instead of a shaving stick with good success. It could surely be sliced to become a stick (most pucks should, I guess).

I eventually came to my senses and arrived at the conclusion that I don’t need to buy more software for travel. I just needed to be creative with the kilo+ of soap that I own...

So a delabelled deodorant stick filled with [insert soap of your choice]. In my case, the remnants of a tin of Bufflehead to eventually be replaced by the remnants of a jar of MdC.

Customisable yet smaller and more practical than a tub, more robust than Palmolive, La Toja etc, better shaped for application than DR Harris & Tabac... What’s not to like?
