In my endeavour to find a suitable non Russian made blade, I've already used the Dorco Titan three times. Not the sharpest I've used, but that's unnecessary for the daily shaver that I am. It's definitely smooth.
Now comes the Indian made Gillette Black.

If you’re looking for suggestions, I can recommend Personna platinum chrome and Silver Star. Silver Star are also very cheap.

I have also heard good things about „sharp platinum“, but have yet to try them.

Like the Dorco Titan, just not convinced about the wrapping. No wax spots, but plain paper. I can see damaged edges on those or maybe I'm over thinking it.

Speaking of Dorco blades, have you tried the Prime? They're very sharp but still smooth, I prefer them to the Titan.

No, I haven't tried those, Garry. Just the Titan.

No, I haven't tried those, Garry. Just the Titan.
Are they similarly wrapped?

They're single paper wrapped with no glue dots,
I've not found one yet with any damage.
I used one today in a Blackbird Ti and had an excellent shave. They're sharp like a Feather but much smoother.

I got mine from Connaught but they're sold out at the moment, Razor Blades club have them.
I prefer them to the 7 o'clock Blacks.

Rocnel Hybrid

I just joined this forum and saw your post about the Rocnel Hybrid. I was curious if you have used it and what are your thoughts about this razor. I have the Rockwell T2 SS and was wondering if I should upgrade.

The hunt for a decent alternative to Russian made Gillette blades is on. Read some good reports on these and dirt cheap with it. I also have some Indian made Gillette 7 o'clock Super Platinums on the way, too.
