I tried an A&E soap once. The scent was typical of most (not all) artisan scents, i.e., too strong for me. That seems to be a common thread amongst modern artisan soap makers. Some shavers love that, which is a great thing! I tend to enjoy the more modestly scented soft soaps. Vintage Williams otoh was right up my alley. A few years back, I was fortuitously gifted two pucks by an older shaver who was downsizing. I still have a puck remaining and really should enjoy it again! But first I must find another “just right” mug, as my Old Spice mug is currently serving active duty with a hard puck from The NetherlandsNo, the truth lies in Williams vintage mug soap and a boar brush!!!

I've stopped buying A&E, when Peter keeps changing the soap's formula, and they are now all in glass jar's no plastic tub's. Too pricey.I tried an A&E soap once.
