Omega 10098 Boar - Cella - Shield GR5 Ti GEM/ GEM SS #1 - Avon Segno EDP

On learning that this version of the Shield was going out of production...I purchased a couple of months ago. Although I have predominantly used Barber Razors this year I decided to give this its first run out.......very nice indeed!

I got into AC razors about a year ago and also have found the RR V3 standard to be a good daily driver. I tried the open comb version and found it way too aggressive for me. The A plate was a big disappointment. Because of the plate configuration, even with a bigger gap than the standard version, the A plate is actually less aggressive than the standard plate.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I find it good for everyday use and with feather super pro blade it is just the right efficiency. Only drawback is that those blades don't last long.
