Ever Ready Natural Angle 'HFT'

I usually have to shave every day, but yesterday I shaved with my new Vector with an AC Feather Pro Super blade, and despite one knick, came away with an incredibly close shave. Comparable to one of my old Krona shaves, but a day later! Wow, I’m not going to have to shave today! I did learn in the meantime that the Feather Super that I used is, if not the sharpest, one of the sharpest AC blades. Has that been anyone else’s experience?

It wasn't the best shave I've had with the Claymore, a new blade is in, ready for next time.

Has that been anyone else’s experience?

I've never been able to work out if it's sharper than the Feather Pro or if it's just the extra exposure.
Instinct tells me me that it's the exposure but exposure doesn't seem to make so much difference to vintage SEs.

Returned to a Vintage SE rotation with what for me is the Rolls Royce Ever Ready - a " Streamline" { from a Single Clamshell Case}.Delivered a shave as good as those I get with AC/SEs.

After yesterday's face stroking finish, a vintage razor has shown it can match it.
Although the Jewel doesn't look its age it's not as nimble as the much younger Vector.

This Scrubby old 1924 coupled with this Ikon handle, Shaves incredibly well - the "Streamline" could be dislodged from its No1 Spot.
