Single Pass Evening Head Shave. 1924/AOS Sandalwood. I decided to kill off the remaining gold plate in favor of brass on the Shovelhead and it's a nice Improvement. Star handle looking good there.

Thanks for the heads up with regards to the steaming method.

Its funny you should mention one hair being like a piece of straw because I had exactly the same problem. I cut mine out.
I don't mind a bit of scritch but that was like drawing a stick across your face.

Get a boar knot from Omega! They are awesome and make a nice change from Badger/Synthetic...

Just to confirm, you can't buy a knot only, but the brushes are cheap as chips anyway, so sacrifice the handle to get the knot out.
