My first Shave of 2020 but the second seated one, actually not a bad shave as the seated position makes me concentrate and take care. Probably will not do too many razor changes while having to resort tool level Shaves, I cannot see too many SOTD photos being forthcoming as moving Shaving gear whilst on crutches is a bit of a chore.
A rather belated "Happy New Year" to everybody:happy:

Second use of my secret Santa soap gift. Initially I’d thought it a very generous sample pot as it’s only 75ml. However, after using it a couple of times I’ve found it MdC like in its ability to produce phenomenal amounts of very slick and thick lather from tiny amounts.

The pot is far too small to load from but a few shavings in the bottom of my bowl is sufficient for an amazing shave. The scent is nothing to get excited about but completely inoffensive. Highly recommend. Thanks secret Santa

Another wonderful shave! The Feather clear shave gel did not do well with the brush, but the PAA preshave Cube soap face lathered very nicely with my Jayaruh Custom Boar. I have decided to let part of my beard grow back in, and the clear gel helped in allowing me to cut the appropriate lines in. In any case another two pass BBS with this great shaving tool left me feeling smooth, clean and refreshed.

RAZOR: Seki AS-D2
BLADE: Feather
PREP: Cold water rinse followed by PAA’s Cube Preshave Soap
BRUSH: Jayaruh Custom Boar
CREAM: Feather Hishave Moist Gel
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with Glyce Glycerin soap followed by Thayers Lavender WH and finished with Old Spice Fresh Lime

D R Harris Lavender Shave Stick
Shavemac 26mm Synthetic
Timeless SS 0.68 Scalloped
SuperMax Blue Diamond Titanium (2)
Superdrug Forest Fresh ASL

Blue Diamond blade is much more assertive in the Timeless compared to my Karve
A lack of concentration earned me a small, persistent nick just above my top lip - could've been a small pimple sheared by the blade
The Shavemac Synth seems to perform more like a badger brush, likely due to the density of its fibres, of which it shed two today.
Overall a good close all round finish, verging on BBS.
Finished with Forest Fresh ASL, which my shaven skin really appreciates.

Prep: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap,Antica Barbieria Colla Almond Oil Pre-Shave Cream
Brush: Rudy Vey Shavemac Three-band Silvertip Briar
Soap: Murphy & McNeil Crann Bethadh
Razor: UFO Tornado / Wolfman WR1
Blade: Vintage NOS Personna Super Platinum Chrome (1)
Post: Antica Barbieria Colla Almond Oil Balm
Scent: Boucheron Pour Homme EdP

Kicked off the New Year by loading my favourite blade into the Wolfie. What a great performer the Personna SPC is, ably assisted by the slick lather from the Murphy & McNeil soap.
Speaking of lather, I'm really enjoying this Rudy Vey Shavemac knot.

Super smooth with the Schick was the Enoch. Had to take a quick looksy to make sure I installed one. But, still removed the whiskers effectively without a single issue. BBS in a glorious 3 passes with no buffing required. A real good shave truth be told. The Enoch has been a wonderful surprise so far. A great evening and shaves to all...
