As far as I know you can't buy CRSW in the UK, only from the US. Well worth the investment though may as well get B&M Beaudelaire whilst your at it, another great deep, dark and dirty fragrance.

I've just priced up 3 soaps from CRSW. The soaps and delivery came to £60 without Royal Mail getting their claws into it. I'll have to think on this one before I take the plunge. Maybe reading a few CRSW reviews will push me over the edge?

Hmm to be completely honest and IMO of course £20 per CRSW if it was just that is well worth it, especially with the newer formations. However, I don't particularly rate the Olivia versions. The scent profiles are very nice indeed. My favourite being Spring LE or the Sandalwood. Plenty of great options. The bay rum is quite basalmic but very nice again. Barbiere Sapone is pure class!

I have tried a few different Sandalwoods - TOBS, Trumpers, AOS. I also own a tin of Simpsons sandalwood and to me it is SO different from the others.

It is the dirtiest Sandalwood that I've tried. It was the very first cream that I bought to start wet shaving and to me it has a kind of like a burnt smoky vetiver tinge to the scent. I really like it but I would imagine it's not for everyone. It's weird that sandalwood scented soaps and splashes can smell so different. Great thread.

I agree. CRSW is the only US soap maker that I've never disliked their scents and Select V2 is outstanding. Like Nishy I found the Oliva less impressive. Worth £20 per tub in my opinion.

If memory serves me right, OSP has one that actually smells of real sandalwood.

Use this and D.R Harris one too,two different scents,but two great soaps,OSP pips it for me on scent and post shave qualities as well,although i really don't have that much experience as others.

Good soaps with true Sandalwood scents: Stirling, CRSW, Fuzzyfacesoaps (Etsy).
OSP scents are faint.

Proraso red has a beautiful natural sandalwood scent, my all time favorite sandalwood is Cold river soap works.
