Yes, glad it's sorted ... would have been disappointing for it not to have been resolved.
Probably no major lessons to be learned ... it was an expensive and well regarded item, made by a well respected outfit and they overcame the issue after a little bit of to and fro... but not excessively so by the sound of it. I suppose coming from another country didn't help in terms of communication and costs - I think we know Bernd is a decent man but not given to excessively long bouts of unnecessary conversation. The vast majority of customers are very satisfied... me included after a bit of a hiccup or two along the way.
As I've said before, I have a brace of badgers and synthetics but not a vast collection, a couple of Bernd's included, and they're all fine in terms of what they do and how they look etc. and, for purely practical reasons alone, I don't feel the need to buy more ... I only have the one face and two hands ... (no, that's not remotely funny, I'm sorry). But the brush collection will likely see me out and, in terms of enjoyment and appreciation, I do, now, feel that it's possible for mere simpletons like me to fail to appreciate the finer, subtle, points that differentiate one type of brush from another and therefore to buy even more would actually be unnecessary and they would be wasted on me. But I see that loads of others CAN appreciate the small but significant variations that different brush types afford ... and (assuming we don't, again, raise the question of animal welfare) that's fine and my abstaining in further purchases of badger brushes isn't likely to change the world as we know it.
