Hello gents.

I have an Avenue of getting a razorock game change 84 next week. My go to razors are Parker variant and Rockwell 6s on plates 4 90% of the time and then 3 depending on if I have little growth.

I really want the game changer and I want it to be similar to my variant and 6s. Can any of you tell me if I’m doing the right thing by wanted a game changer or if it’s considerably different.

many respects. J.

I really like using my 6S with the R4 place. Recently I've been using my GameChanger 0.84 SB more and more and I think it's great. A bit more aggressive than R4, but still really easy to use

It's a very easy to use, medium efficient razor. No weird quirks, effective with a wide range of blades and not overly sensitive to angle. I got great results from the start with mine, no reason you shouldn't too.

I don’t know about the Parker or Rockwell, but the GC .84 is smooth and efficient - noticeably more efficient than the .68. In my experience all the Game Changers (I also have a .68 OC) work really well with every blade in my rotation.

Second this post entirely. The .84 is slightly more aggressive and efficient than the R4 plate, but it remains a fairly safe razor. The .68 is less efficient than the R4 and still not as smooth.

My shave yesterday was not so good. I love my 6s plate 4, but I used it with a persona med prep and had a terrible shave. So I now know that's not a good blade combo.

I got mine Razorock Game changer .84 a month ago, so far I have tested only four blades. Gillette Wilkinson, Astra Green, Rapira platinum lux and Voskhod. I have ten more blades, waiting to test, for now, the Voskhod turned out to be the best, the aster behind it, rapira only then gillette wilkinson. Every blade does the job, only the "exposure" of the blade is different as well as the feeling, the efficiency is similar for everyone.

I hope this has helped

A little review of my 2 razors used this month of AUGUST Razorock Game Changer 0.68 is smooth and forgiving. For daily shaving, it largely does its job without irritation or redness. Combined with a very sharp blade like the Feather or the Wizamet, it is intractable and in 2 passes (against the current) I would compare it with my R6s on a 4 board. important, but it's still surprisingly nice when paired with a supposedly smooth blade like the Voskhod or Rapira Stainless. Associated with a Wizamet I had redness on the neck, light but visible. It demands attention and I would compare it to my R6s on the 6 plate. Smooth, comfortable and close shave. Both plates provide a solid shave with just a bit more blade feel on the .84 compared to the .68, while the latter is a little smoother. I understand its success better, especially when you see its price.
