Razor maintenance after each shave

For those of you who have the option I strongly recommend a water softener. I like my razors shiny and all I have to do is rinse. When I travel I take a microfiber cloth and I'm always surprised at how hard it is to keep the razor bright. Water softeners also make rinsing the sink dead easy too, not to mention making one's skin feel better.

Mine is much simpler. Loosen head and run head with the blade in razor under hot water. After I clean my brush I then take the razor with the blade in it and dip it in rubbing alcohol.

Same exact routine here (except sometimes I make do with cold water).

I have 2 or 3 on little stands in the bathroom and when I decide to change one out of rotation it gets a proper clean before being put away.

Rinse hot water, examine for soap buildup, and back on counter. May loosen and more hot water if soap buildup. In some cases, remove blade and clean. After few hours of drying, razor goes into stand if applicable.

Rinse daily(Sunday-Friday)
End of the shave week disassemble(if 3pc.) bin blade, clean with tooth brush and dish detergent.

Rinse, dry, loosen, back in stand. If it became any more lengthy I would probably revert back to the Mach 3.

Open up and rinse when in use. After 3 days when a change of razor and blade is on the cards, I use mild bathroom cleaner and old toothbrush.

After every shave I take the razor apart, remove the blade rinse all parts under cold water and dry inc blade. I put the blade in a box lined with tissue dry the razor and reassemble then put it in its place back on the display shelf ready for next time.

I stick it under a tap, take to bits, dry with a bit of (clean) toilet roll, leave to air dry and put back together. I live in a hard water area, so I give it a good seeing to every now and then as the spirit moves me.

Rinse and put it on the side. When it looks like a white ceramic razor with no metal showing other than on the cap I'll seriously think about cleaning it....

Warm soapy water and a toothbrush once every so often. Apart from that on a daily basis it’s a swish off and wipe dry.

I'm with @LeeBot on both his posts, but I disassemble and put in dishwasher once a month.
