I listened, complied, and I never contracted Covid-19. This is an event most of us actually have personal experience. We are not learning from an historian. What is important to me is to not allow anyone to tell us how things were when we were there.

Upon further reflection, our “reflecting pool” is green from algae. One op-ed said, “any biologist would have predicted “. One more reason to trust people who took the time to get academic training. Instead of buffoons.

The years 2020 onwards during COVID were a deeply unpleasant time. All the rehashing feels unnecessary as when you say we all have our opinions on what happened because we all went through it.

Just keep blaming on China for the global COVID pandemic, because, China refuses to acknowledge it and won’t apologise to the whole world.

I think I said we all had personal experience having lived through the era. I do not equate experience with opinion. It is important for me to remember the past and a little rehashing helps at times.

Upon more reflection, at least here we increasingly have people in positions with authority who either do not know what they are talking about or are repeating what someone tells them to say. This was going on during the pandemic making it difficult for Americans to know who to believe. Some chose the wrong advice and died. One community decided distancing was unnecessary and had an event in which some died. That leaves a lasting impression when you see families and individuals suffer because they listened to people who acted like they knew something.

Most of us here have access to multiple sources of information in order to make an informed decision or consent. We know when we hear something that is simply false or worse, an intent to inflame or troll. Not everyone has the resources or time to do the research.

Do you all ever watch those "barn find" videos where the content provider cleans up the vehicle and gets it running?

Or, how about those European vintage rally races through the mountains?

My point is that there is a way to keep our vehicles on the road. We may have to chip away as we can afford, but I think it is possible to keep them on the road.

Our family was remembering the pandemic years on Father's Day this past Sunday. I reflected back on 2016, four years prior to the Spring of 2000. In 2016 things were in place to bring about the result that we all shared. This causes me to consider today and what is being formed that will reshape our lives in four-five years. Had you known what was coming, would the outcome be different? I cannot think of anything I could have done except to warn others.

We were talking about this just a day or two ago, it was really nice because there was no traffic and very few people in the stores, and nobody was sick.

For us the so called "pandemic" was only on line or on the tv.

Was this because of your location? Are you in a rural area?

I was quite active selling property and a house with all the requirements and activities that go along with that process. I was still employed before retirement, looking for a house, plus moving further South. Since I lived in the sticks, nothing really changed for me personally except for when I was working in the hospice care business.
