Kenny Baker, the diminutive actor that portrayed R2-D2 in the Star Wars films, has died aged 81, RIP.

I was lucky enough to meet him in 97 or 98 (my then girlfriend's uncle had been a spark on one of the Star Wars films, and they periodically kept in touch). He was a funny, funny man.
