I use a soap for three days (unless I'm trying to kill it off) and I use a blade in a razor until it's spent (2-3 days for a DE and more for a SE), so that reduces the frequency of changes. I choose a brush on the spur of the moment and a ASL based on what's on top of the cabinet. I really don't spend a great deal of time thinking about it.

I don’t really plan. I look at whats on the shelf and pick something. Strict rotation doesn’t work for me I’m more fluid but at least I now know everything I use will work for me.

I’ve got so much stuff that it’s very difficult for me to choose a setup sometimes. I once changed my mind five times before I finally made a decision.
