Some Brits are terrible at self-isolation. I know someone who came back from Venice to London on Wednesday and doesn't give a poop, despite government advise. Too inconvenient and aged 30 she probably won't die from it.

To be honest 111 have been messing up for the last month by telling patients not to go to their Doctors but instead to go to their nearest Pharmacy. This has only recently changed, but as you can imagine over the last month Pharmacy staff responding to these individuals have been at a higher risk.
Secondly, ventilation rates provide a total change of air 20 to 30 times per hour. Most modern aircraft have recirculation systems, which recycle up to 50% of cabin air. The recirculated air is usually passed through HEPA (high-efficiency particulate air) filters, of the type used in hospital operating theatres and intensive care units, which trap dust particles, bacteria, fungi and viruses.
I haven't currently been showing any symptoms. I am regularly checking these. Despite the above CDC do suggest both Poland and Germany are level 3 countries so would be sensible to self isolate. I have heard from a trusted source that we are approximately one and a half weeks behind the situation in Italy.
