Photo of the day

Extreme sharpness is ephemeral!
I took this photograph many years ago. The photo is one of my personal favourites. I didn't realise it at the time. But it now speaks out to me whenever I look at it, the young girl in the background has become a reflection of the past youth of the elderly Lady, it's telling us all that life is a very short journey, the young girl will one day be the old Lady, it's a reflection of our own mortality.

I came across these two Jehovah's Witnesses on my daily walk with the Bedlington boys today. I don't think they were too happy about having their photo taken.

We had a fellow at work that was a JoHo. He was a great guy to work with and never brought religion into the work place. He had drug and alcohol problems before becoming a JoHo which straightened him out. Personally, I don't care for the selling of any religion door to door and any that do come calling are told politely to get off my property before I call the police to have them charged with petty trespass.

Bob,

You’re the first person, other than myself, who I have heard say they see it at as selling religion door to door. It most definitely is!
