OK so the latest parcel has been sent to Kerry today recorded delivery delivery as a couple previous went AWOL. What has been sent are two oils. One is by Ajmal, Tuscan Oud, the other by Perfume Parlour; Tom Ford Oud Wood.
Tuscan Oud has notes of apple and grape riding on a gritty Oud. It is quite a sweet fragrance with notes of rose and amber being quite prevalent. From this mixture I am particularly looking for Kerry to replicate the grape and apple components. Amber is not a high priority, I would prefer rose to be the 'sweetening agent' the Oud represented here is quite gritty and perhaps could even be described as wet earth. This isn't the Oud type I'm looking for.
The TF Oud Wood is a smoother Oud, with less/no earthy vibes and more of a clean resin. A little smokey too which is exactly what I'm looking towards.
Hoping to have this package reach Kerry by Wednesday latest. Following on from which, we are hoping to have a few samples for analysis.

Oud is commonly known as agarwood, a resinous product. As with vetiver it comes in many different 'flavours'. I particularly like the musky/smokey yet warm nature it has. Where musk is considered by some to be an old lady's handbag sort of fragrance, oud is more crisp and prominent.
