Hello all. Portuguese immigrant, born in the USA. I’m a veteran IT professional with over 30 years in security and user interface; these days I run iOS CI runners and local LLM inference, plus QA for a tattoo marketplace, which is the least surprising gig I have ever taken.
Tattoos are my main focus and reason for being. My bodysuit is still in progress, with artists in Lisbon and Amsterdam and no plans to stop; there is always another layer, another detail. That is also how the shaving started. A bodysuit wants bare skin, and electrolysis over ink was never an option, so I picked up a razor for upkeep and it quietly became a hobby in its own right. Head to toe, every pass, a fair number of them against the grain.
Currently, I’ve still got my training wheels on with Gillette Labs Body or Fusion Pro blades. By joining you, I hope to learn how the grownups optimize their wet shave and graduate to better products and practices. I need your tips and advice, and I’ll be leaning on this community to keep my skin healthy and absolutely hair free.
