Occams V2 - AC/ SE Razor

I have used the Occams Oren a lot, and it has become my No1 Travel Razor. I was so impressed with it that I acquired the Original V1 in a Razor swap. I get very good quality hassle free Shaves with it every time, using Plate 3 and Feather Proguard blade. IMHO the quality of Shaves that I get with these razors is up there with the best that I get with other AC/SE Razors. Had a very good Shaves with the V1 today.

Being quite light I can see a time when I might not be able to use my heavier Razors and these will be in regular use. A bonus is that aggression can be altered by changing plates and using different blades. Seems that only the V1 is up for sale these days, and though a bit pricey could be a good buy for those of us not getting younger who like to use AC/SE razors. I have tried the Occams Enoch and Hiram Commander but reckon that The V1 & Oren deliver consistently better Shaves.

A quick thread revival as it has been a real good shaver for me. Late shave last night with the Occam's....

A fine shave with the Occam’s O.R.E.N. Nano SE. Used the 2 dot plate with a fresh KAI Captain. The result was an extremely smooth yet satisfyingly efficient feeling shave that went full BBS in 3 passes. The “floating blade system” is practically fool proof in negating any potential mishaps that can cause nics or cuts during ones shave. I mean one can be a total careless shaver and blood can be drawn but, you would nearly have to deliberately do so to make that happen. The Nano is an extraordinary good shaver that for me has delivered exquisite shaves every time I’ve used it. Unconventional in design yet it gives superb conventional results.

A while ago someone on a Facebook shaving group was actually complaining about the blade “moving”. They were totally missing the floating blade concept. For me the Nano is my preferred go to, excellent razor.

Great shave this morning with the Occam’s. Place on skin and go. Easiest and most forgiving SE on the planet while still being mean and nasty on the whiskers.

Lovely shave this morning. Yes, still have mine & it's a wonderful shaver. Different and perhaps a bit quirky looking but, there's no denying that it simply delivers close and comfortable shaves every time for me. One of the best razor creations to ever come out from Classic Shaving regardless of format.

A fabulous shave from start to finish. It handles on the skin with superb comfort and smooth like ice efficiency. Very few razors combine both comfort and efficient work like the Occam’s O.R.E.N AC razor. An outstanding razor indeed.
